FurryVNE stands for “Furry Visual Novel Editor” and aspires to be an all-in-one toolset for creating furry avatars and stories, all in 3D. While it offers an extensive array of advanced features and options, FurryVNE is still much simpler to use than standard 3D authoring tools.
With this project, we’re trying to reshape the furry fandom. Up until this point, content and story creation has been in the hands of the few who are talented enough to be artists, but with this tool, we're trying to democratize furry content creation by making it easy for regular users to create content too.
FurryVNE is entirely crowdfunded through Patreon.

You are buying access to the newest build of FurryVNE, and any future builds we release within a 1 month period. Any builds you download, you can keep using indefinitely, even after cancelling your pledge. You will however not be able to download future builds (after the subscription expires) unless you are pledged.
With a pledge, you also earn "OwOs" (similar to "super-likes") that can be spent on user-uploaded content on the online cloud platform. These "OwOs" let you show extra appreciation for creators and their work.
Yes, you can cancel your pledge at any time. You can keep using any builds you downloaded during your pledge, even after cancellation. However, without renewing your pledge, you won’t be able to download future builds. Additionally, some online services may only be provided while you have an active pledge.
You will retain access to any builds you've downloaded. However, you won't be able to download future builds. Also, certain features on the online cloud platform may only be offered to paying customers.
Not yet, but it will be implemented. More details about this will be posted in the future. Stay tuned for updates!
FurryVNE supports the creation of bipedal, anthropomorphic characters. It doesn't support creation of humans or quadrupeds.
No, you don't have to upload anything. You can create and use characters and animations locally if you want. Uploading content is entirely optional.
Any character you download will be cached locally on your system, but if you want to explicitly save content to a certain file, you're able to do that as well.
FurryVNE is able to export your characters to OBJ, allowing you to import them into a myriad of other apps.
For use in VRChat and other apps, you will need extra steps to set up your character in programs like Blender and Unity. But it is certainly possible to use FurryVNE as a starting point. Many users have designed their characters in FurryVNE and later ported them to VRChat.
You are able to export your character to a generic 3D format that other apps can read. However, characters will require extra steps before they'd be suitable for 3D printing. But it's certainly possible to use FurryVNE as a starting point.
The app comes with two extensive video tutorials series, covering both character creation and animation, helping you to get started. There's also an online manual, explaining in detail how to do many things. Furthermore, there are fan made Discord channels you can join if you need extra help.
You're free to use the content you create in any way you like, as long as it's for personal and non-commercial use.
We don't provide commission services ourselves, but many users in our community might be interested in helping you bring your project to life. Be sure to explore the fan Discord server to connect with them!
Yes, you can take on commissions. You don't need to share any revenue with us.
Any content you upload will be publicly available to everyone. Others can freely download your content, make changes to it, and re-upload the modified version as their own entry. However, if anyone does this, their work will be clearly marked as derivative of your work, and your work will be credited and linked.
Using the cloud is entirely optional. If you don't want your content to be used and shared, the simplest solution is to simply not upload it in the first place.
